Responsibilities
- Develop, sustain, and foster consensus on Industrial Technologies standards.
- Drive efforts toward an enhanced performance data landscape.
- Lead teams in high-level programming languages for implementing machine communication, data analysis, and task automation.
- Build capability in industrial technologies across sites.
- Develop and implement standard solutions for manufacturing/process data collection and predictive modeling.
- Proactively seek out losses and improvement opportunities.
- Provide input on site priorities and ensure alignment with leadership team.
- Leverage engineering and project management tools.
- Scout external opportunities and represent Duracell as an innovation partner.
- Understand sites and departments thoroughly.
- Have a deep understanding of the technology pyramid and IT.
- Translate technical challenges and opportunities to non-technical peers.
- Resolve conflicts effectively across organizational boundaries.
- Seek out and quickly grasp technical concepts to grow personal expertise.
- Lead in a team environment, communicate effectively, build collaborative relationships, and maintain a healthy team culture.
- Communicate and receive feedback constructively.

- Be flexible with work locations (home, office/plant, travel).
- B.S. in Engineering with preferences for Computer or Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems Management, or Computer Science.
- 2+ years of Controls or Information/Data Management Systems experience in a production environment, preferably in a managerial role.
- Potential preference for experience in Network or IT Engineering positions.
- Experience with various Machine Learning techniques including neural networks, clustering, and classification.
- Experience with automated controls technologies, such as PLC systems, control and communication networks, SCADA systems, PC-based integration software, VFD and servo drives, robotics, vision systems, program and parameter-based instrumentation, and other advanced sensor technologies.
