About the role
Teaching students of classes I to V for the ICSE curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Lesson planning
- Lesson delivery in classroom
- Maintaining record for teaching-learning process
- Assessment and work for improvement
- Conduct remedial classes as needed
Requirements
- Graduation (with Social Science as a subject) with B. Ed.
- Minimum 2 years experience of teaching Social Science or other subjects
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle a class of 40 students
- Engaging all types of learners
- Exemplary behaviour and soft-spoken demeanor
- Uncompromising on rules & regulations
- Use of positive reinforcement
- Familiarity with differentiated learning
- Ability to create PowerPoint presentations for classroom use
- Awareness of competency-based teaching and competency framework as per NEP
- Readiness to work after school hours in case of emergency
- Readiness to work in extreme climatic conditions (Northern state temperature in summer and winter)
- Opposition to corporal punishment
