About the Opportunity

The Provisioning Specialist supports the Information Technology Department by managing user access to software applications, systems, and equipment. This role ensures that employees have the appropriate access levels, contributing to security and operational efficiency. It is critical for maintaining access controls, supporting user needs, and facilitating smooth technology provisioning within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain user credentials for company applications and systems
  • Provision, modify, and remove user access following approved procedures
  • Document provisioning processes and access requirements
  • Terminate access promptly upon employment changes
  • Conduct routine reviews and audits of user permissions and policies
  • Assist users and support teams with access-related troubleshooting
  • Provision computers with required software and maintain standard images
  • Support hardware provisioning for new hires and role changes
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for system enhancements and releases

Requirements

  • Four-year IT or technical degree in system administration or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of server operating systems, file share and NTFS permissions, and access rights
  • Preferred two or more years of experience in server administration or user provisioning in LAN/WAN environments
  • Experience with access management in production and development environments preferred
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced changes and flexible scheduling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative work style with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Familiarity with access management best practices

Pay

  • Base pay range: $25 to $30 per hour
