About the role
We are looking for a personable, motivated, and licensed mental health therapist to join our thriving group practice. Located in North Haven, between exits 11-12 on I-91, we offer both in-person and virtual therapy appointments, with 90% in-person and 10% virtual. Our practice serves various patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
Responsibilities
- Provisionally Licensed or licensed eligible (LMSW, LMFTA, LPCA) in Connecticut
- A deep sense of compassion and insight into self to better understand how their emotions and thoughts influence patients' treatment
- A willingness to learn and adapt based on patient and practice needs
- A desire to continue to develop skills to accommodate patients' diverse needs
- Maintain a caseload of at least 24 patients (full-time), and 15 patients (part-time)
- Strong organizational abilities to maintain sufficient case notes
- Work well with a team and under the supervision and direction of the practice owner
- Strong written, verbal, and emotional communication between patients and leadership
- Weekly Supervision towards licensure will be provided

- Professional specialties such as Men's Issues, Women's Issues, Trauma (EMDR, IFS, SI, etc), couples, Adolescents, or Christian Counseling
- Experience providing couples counseling or working with children 10 and older
