Caravel Autism Health is committed to being the leader in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment for children on the autism spectrum. We are growing and looking for passionate, motivated individuals who want meaningful clinical experience while working toward Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality direct ABA therapy across clinic, home, school, and community environments
  • Implement behavior support plans (BSPs) and skill acquisition programs developed by the supervising BCBA
  • Utilize evidence-based ABA strategies, including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), task analysis, prompting, and reinforcement strategies
  • Collect accurate, timely, and reliable data during therapy sessions
  • Review and monitor weekly treatment hours to ensure therapy expectations and compliance requirements are met, including maintaining delivery of at least 85% of authorized services
  • Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times
  • Contribute to client-specific treatment plans based on assessments and developmental guidelines under BCBA supervision
  • Collaborate with technicians, supervisory teammates, and caregivers to support effective and efficient service delivery
  • Develop programs, advance targets, prepare materials, and implement procedural adjustments as directed
  • Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Support assessments and probe new targets to inform future treatment goals
  • Analyze behavioral data and assist with data-driven clinical recommendations

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Active enrollment in a BCBA or BCaBA program and working toward BACB certification
  • Experience: Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or obtain RBT certification within 75 days of hire (45 days on model)
  • Experience: Experience working with children and/or adolescents using ABA therapies
  • Experience: Solid understanding of autism spectrum disorders and behavioral principles
  • Experience: Experience applying behavior-analytic strategies to modify behavior
