Essential Functions
- Provide high-quality direct ABA therapy across clinic, home, school, and community environments
- Implement behavior support plans (BSPs) and skill acquisition programs developed by the supervising BCBA
- Utilize evidence-based ABA strategies, including DTT, NET, task analysis, prompting, and reinforcement strategies
- Collect accurate, timely, and reliable data during therapy sessions
- Review and monitor weekly treatment hours to ensure therapy expectations and compliance requirements are met, including maintaining delivery of at least 85% of authorized services
- Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and safety at all times
- Contribute to client-specific treatment plans based on assessments and developmental guidelines under BCBA supervision
- Collaborate with technicians, supervisory teammates, and caregivers to support effective and efficient service delivery
- Develop programs, advance targets, prepare materials, and implement procedural adjustments as directed
- Assist with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Support assessments and probe new targets to inform future treatment goals
- Analyze behavioral data and assist with data-driven clinical recommendations
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required
- Active enrollment in a BCBA or BCaBA program and working toward BACB certification
- Experience: Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or obtain RBT certification within 75 days of hire (45 days on model)
- Experience: Experience working with children and/or adolescents using ABA therapies
- Experience: Solid understanding of autism spectrum disorders and behavioral principles
- Experience: Experience applying behavior-analytic strategies to modify behavior
