Provider Recruitment Specialist - Primary Care Healthcare Recruiter
About the role
HealthDrive delivers on-site dentistry, optometry, podiatry, audiology, behavioral health, and primary care services to residents in long-term care, skilled nursing, and assisted living facilities. The Provider Recruitment Specialist - Primary Care is responsible for developing and executing proactive recruitment strategies to attract and hire top Primary Care talent. This role partners with recruitment, onboarding, operations, practice leadership teams, hiring managers, and subject matter experts to hire Primary Care providers for specified client locations.
Core duties include sourcing (cold and warm calls), prequalifying candidates, developing pipelines, and fostering provider relationships in assigned markets. The role requires a deep understanding of the marketplace, strong networking, and innovative sourcing techniques while following HealthDrive’s full-cycle recruitment process. The Specialist will manage processes, report recruitment metrics, and meet individual performance goals and weekly KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to find viable prospects and fill positions within timelines.
- Create job descriptions, postings, and recruiting materials in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Conduct provider searches from initial screening interviews through final negotiations.
- Utilize sourcing strategies including databases (internal & external), social media, web-based platforms, job postings, referrals, and other resources.
- Execute cold and warm calls to produce hires and secure provider referrals.
- Serve as the primary contact for provider candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Partner with hiring managers, Operations Team, Practice Directors, and Directors of Clinical Operations to implement staffing processes.
- Contribute to HealthDrive’s Provider Database by uploading provider information and documenting communications.
- Work with recruitment leadership to design and implement scalable staffing processes.
- Ensure compliance with established processes and guidelines.
- Collaborate with vendors to create and manage resource strategies for maximum benefit.
- Provide recruitment metrics reporting and develop new reporting tools as required.
Requirements
- Demonstrated successful sourcing and recruitment skills for Primary Care Providers.
- Experience and knowledge of the Skilled Nursing facility environment.
- Confidence, experience, and skills to support organizational activities.
- Ability to manage small and large-scale recruitment projects to support business growth.
- Strong skills in recruiting, negotiating, conflict management, communication, active listening, and decision-making.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field and/or equivalent work experience.
Pay
Salary up to $75,000. Compensation depends on skill set and proven track record in recruiting for Primary Care or skilled nursing facility environments.
