About the role
Join Our Team at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. This position is being offered as a .8 FTE (64 hours a pay period).
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end enrollment, credentialing, and recredentialing of providers across hospital and clinic settings with payors.
- Navigate Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer systems while maintaining strict accuracy in provider data and documentation.
- Track multiple applications, resolve enrollment-related claim issues, and meet evolving regulatory and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with providers, billing teams, and internal departments to support smooth onboarding and uninterrupted revenue cycle operations.
- Proactively address discrepancies to maintain compliance and reimbursement readiness.
Requirements
- Education and Experience Required:
- Associate degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or payer-related functions preferred.
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation.
- Educational certification in credentialing (e.g., CPCS, CPMSM) or related field is preferred.
