Role: Provider/APP Nurse (RN or LPN) Summary: Provides specialized nursing support to oncology and hematology patients, collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement personalized care plans. Assists in administering chemotherapy and biotherapy, performs assessments, and ensures safety standards are met. Supports patient education, counseling, and coordination of care, addressing physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. Delegates tasks to staff, maintains clinical competency, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care within licensure scope, utilizing the nursing process.Assist with treatment procedures, medication administration, and central line maintenance.Employ critical thinking and evidence-based practices aligned with national standards.Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring accurate communication and documentation.Educate patients and families on health management, symptom evaluation, and treatment adherence.Maintain safety standards, support quality improvement activities, and adhere to clinic protocols. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure required.Basic Life Support (CPR) certification; oncology certification preferred.Minimum of one year nursing experience; oncology experience preferred.Knowledge of nursing systems, regulations, and safety protocols.Effective communication, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
