Provider Network Manager Sr - DME
About the role
The Provider Network Manager Senior role is responsible for developing the provider network through contract negotiations, relationship development, and servicing. The primary focus is on contracting and negotiating contract terms, typically with complex providers such as large institutional providers, large medical groups, ancillary providers, and those in areas with strong competition.
Responsibilities
- Serves as key resource for other contracting staff and provides mentoring and on-the-job training and development.
- Works independently and requires high level of judgment and discretion.
- Might work on projects impacting the business unit requiring collaboration with other key areas or serve on enterprise projects around network management.
- Collaborates with sales team in making presentations to employer groups.
- Serves as a communication link between professional providers and the company.
- Ensures that network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialties.
- Conducts more complex negotiations and drafts documents.
- Prepares financial projections and conducts analysis.
Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in contracting, provider relations, and provider servicing; experience should include prior contracting experience.
- Strong understanding of Post-Acute Care network development including Durable Medical Equipment is preferred.

High level of negotiation skills, ability to draft documents, and preparation of financial projections and analysis.

Schedule
Hybrid schedule: 8:30-5 Central time Monday-Friday, with 1-2 days in-office per week.
