Provider Directory Specialist
Job Overview
The Provider Directory Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of AltaMed’s provider directory data across all lines of business. This role ensures provider information is accurate and up to date across multiple systems by performing regular audits, resolving data discrepancies, and validating demographic and credentialing details. This role collaborates closely with Provider Relations, IT, Compliance, and Network Administration teams to support onboarding, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role conducts outreach to provider offices and leverages external data sources to verify credentials and patient access information, supporting both patient experience and organizational objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a High School Diploma with 6 years in healthcare, specifically in provider data, network operations, or credentialing.
- Experience in Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) provider directory compliance requirements, including validation of provider data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Compensation
Compensation: $25.00 - $29.45 hourly. Compensation Disclaimer: Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change.
