About the Opportunity

The Provider Credentialing Advocate plays a key role in customer service by providing expert support to providers and clients through phone and chat communication. This position ensures effective resolution of credentialing and contracting inquiries, contributing to streamlined operations and improved stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise and support to providers, customers, and clients via phone and chat.
• Address and resolve inquiries related to provider contracting, credentialing, and demographics.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external partners to resolve issues.
• Identify underlying issues by asking appropriate questions and actively listening.
• Educate customers on self-service resources and credentialing responsibilities.
• Manage relationships with internal partners to coordinate resolution efforts.
• Utilize knowledge resources and escalate issues to leadership as needed.
• Ensure first contact resolution and proper documentation of interactions.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of client-facing customer service experience.
• Intermediate communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Intermediate business writing skills for organizing complex information.
• Ability to multitask, resolve contractual and demographic disputes, and be accountable to leadership.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

• Hourly pay ranges from $20.00 to $36.00 based on experience and other factors.
• Comprehensive benefits package including incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility.
