About the role

Strong analytical skills and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate excels at interpreting complex data, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable business insights. This position is focused on provider compensation and business analytics rather than IT development; programming, SQL, database administration, and software engineering experience are not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and interpret moderate financial analyses.
  • Assist in calculating monthly/quarterly provider compensation.
  • Audit payroll files and true-up payment records against plan terms.
  • Participate in annual provider compensation-related surveys.
  • Track wRVU production, panel sizes, access scores, and incentive measures.
  • Escalate outliers or data discrepancies to Senior Analyst or Director.
  • Maintain organized records for compensation plans, approval documentation, and policy references.
  • Help respond to audit or compliance inquiries with clear supporting files.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding workflows and status changes for providers.
  • Document and improve compensation workflows and processing logic.
  • Develop internal SOPs for common tasks and share knowledge with team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of work-related experience.
  • 1 year in healthcare finance, provider compensation, analytics, or related roles (preferred).
  • Knowledge of billing and coding information is instrumental in data collection activities for medical group provider compensation, productivity, and strategic development.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
