Provider Assistant - Medical Assistant

Patient Care Duties

• Documentation of medical record information
• Administration of medications and treatments
• Obtaining medical histories and vital signs

Work Schedule

Week 1: Tuesday and Friday 4:00pm-8:15pm
Week 2: Tuesday and Friday 4:00pm-8:15pm

Required Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant Program with CMA/RMA certification
• Completion of accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program with MN/WI LPN license
• Current BLS certification
• OSHA Training
• One year medical assistant experience and/or Licensed practical nurse in a clinic preferred
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Excellent customer service skills; tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions
• Demonstrate compassion and caring in all interactions
• Understand patient education needs, able to effectively share information
• Learn, retain information regarding patient care procedures
• Plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks
• Remain calm in stressful situations
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to learn Epic electronic medical records system
