Prototype Vehicle Engineering Technician

The Prototype Vehicles team is seeking an automotive technician eager to advance their career. Ideal candidates must be highly motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced engineering development environment.

What You'll Do

• General fleet maintenance and repair
• Retrofit/modify prototype vehicles to accommodate new hardware designs from engineering
• Diagnose and repair failures found with prototypes
• Provide failure analysis and design concerns back to engineering

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years' experience in automotive troubleshooting and repair (preferred)
• Technical certification from an accredited automotive training institution
• Own tools and equipment
• Operate and maintain shop tools and equipment, as well as various hand and power tools
• Flexible schedule and willingness to travel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines
• Show attention to detail and accuracy
• Work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities/schedules
• Excellent communication and written skills, proficient in Microsoft Office

Pay

The expected compensation range is $24.40 - $43.20/hour, plus cash and stock awards, and benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
