Prototype Machinist

About the role

KFORM Defense is seeking a Prototype Machinist to join their team in Sterling, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be comfortable working on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and manufacture prototypes using various machining processes
• Operate CNC machines and manual tools to produce high-quality parts
• Work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure parts meet specifications
• Perform quality checks on finished products

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in machining
• Proficiency with CNC machines and manual tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license

Skills

• Knowledge of metalworking processes
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Good communication skills
