About the Role
This is a hands-on position primarily focused on machining with some assembly duties. The role supports the Prototype Engineer for quick response on prototyping needs for customer projects. It is a fast-paced job with a variety of projects, requiring both CNC and manual machining skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate a CNC mill, CNC lathe, manual lathe, and other typical machine shop tooling
- Use common measuring tools to verify part dimensions
- Provide quality assurance on all produced parts
- Manage time and tasks to complete projects meeting or exceeding customer delivery requirements
- Run errands on occasion, including picking up tooling, taking chips to recycle, and picking up material
- Perform routine maintenance on machine shop equipment
Requirements
- Experience with CNC controllers (HAAS & Fanuc preferred)
- Experience programming in CAM software (Fusion 360 preferred)
- Hands-on experience with a machining background preferred
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s degree in Machining or Machining and Manufacturing preferred

Pay
The typical estimated total compensation for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hour, depending on experience, including potential bonus opportunities.
