Protocol Director

For a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Protocol Director to join their team. This role focuses on leading operational priorities centered on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead protocol teams and act as a mentor for technical leaders
• Guide teams through complex technical challenges with depth of knowledge
• Set and maintain efficient operational rhythms for multiple teams
• Oversee team performance, retention, and operational health
• Develop strategic visions for protocols and their business applications
• Facilitate collaboration and communication across different teams
• Engage with clients to leverage protocol expertise in key discussions

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Ethereum, Solana, or Chainlink oracle networks
• Proven experience in managing technical teams and driving team development
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with real business impacts
• Exceptional technical communication skills for various audiences
• Operational expertise in managing multi-team functions and logistics
• High agency with the capacity to take ownership of projects
• Passion for innovation in the evolving protocol landscape

Pay

$130,000 – $180,000 annually
