About the Role
This position requires an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong interest in clinical research. The Protocol Coordinator works independently while collaborating effectively with physicians, patients, peers, data managers, and other hospital personnel. The role is accountable to the Medical Director, Associate Director of CISO, and Principal Investigator(s), ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate across disciplines with physicians, patients, peers, and data managers.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Complete credentialing application and competency course for scribing chemotherapy/biotherapy orders with Norris clinics.
- Complete required training: Human Subject Training, HIPAA, GCP, Sexual Harassment, Bloodborne Pathogens, and obtain a shipping certificate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or combined experience/education as substitute).
- Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- Eligible for CA licensure, current CPR certification, and clinical research experience.
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary environment.

Pay
Pay range: $50.13 to $62.89 per hour.
