Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience: Healthcare Public Safety/Police, preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: IAHSS Basic and/or Adv Training Certifications within 6 months of hire, required. NCPPSB Armed Security Office Registration Permit within 12 months of hire, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire, required.
- Additional Skills (required): BLS/CPR within 90 days of hire through employment.
- Must qualify for and maintain a North Carolina Private Protective Service Board Armed Security Officer Registration Permit in accordance with annual training and qualification standards established by Novant Health.
- Additional Skills (preferred): Security, law enforcement or military experience.
