Protective Relay and Automation Engineer I, II, III, and IV

About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining protective relay systems and automation equipment in power generation and transmission facilities. Conducts inspections, tests, and repairs to ensure system reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement protective relay systems and automation equipment
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and repairs to ensure system reliability and safety
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement new technologies
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in protective relaying and automation
  • Knowledge of protective relay principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

  • Proficiency in protective relay software and hardware
  • Experience with SCADA systems
  • Knowledge of power system protection and control

Pay

  • $80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
