Protection Case Management Officer - PRoL

About the role
The Protection Case Management Officer - PRoL will be responsible for community-based protection, general protection case management, monitoring protection, Individual Protection Assistance, and awareness among the Rohingya refugee population. The role ensures the safety, confidentiality, and dignity of refugee and host communities. This is a contractual, full-time position based in Camp 1E, reporting to the Senior Protection Officer - PRoL. Contract length: through 31 March 2027, with possible extension based on funding, program needs, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage general case management for clients, including developing case plans, coordinating services, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure safety and wellbeing of vulnerable populations.
- Identify and receive referrals of persons at heightened risk.
- Conduct household visits and center-based interviews to assess needs of individuals and families.
- Provide information to individuals and families about their rights, entitlements, and available services.
- Develop and implement action plans with clients based on their needs, capacities, and goals.
- Assess risk and support clients in understanding risks relevant to their situation.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor of Social Science in Sociology or related field.
