Prosthetic Technician
About the role
The Prosthetic Technician is responsible for designing, fabricating, and fitting prosthetic devices to enhance the quality of life for patients.
Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate custom prosthetic limbs using CAD software and traditional techniques.
- Fit and adjust prosthetic devices to ensure comfort and functionality.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to understand patient needs and preferences.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in prosthetics technology and materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics and orthotics or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in prosthetics.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills
- Proficient in CAD software.
- Experience with 3D printing and other fabrication techniques.
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
$50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
