Job Summary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and edits non-technical sections of proposals and assists technical authors in maintaining requirements.
- Participates in cost and pricing reviews and ensures that proposals are well written and meet the RFP requirements and Company standards.
- Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Equivalent professional proposal experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Must have a basic understanding of proposal concepts.
- Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule and coordinate work phases; and determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of non-routine problems.
- Must have good communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to perform multiple tasks in one technical proposal area.
- Able to work extended hours as required.
