Proposals Engineer

Location: Rochdale, Glasgow, Worcester, Swansea (remote considered) | Department: Sales | Hours: Full-time

This role offers a Sprinkler Design Engineer the chance to transition into Technical Sales, preparing and submitting tenders while overseeing smooth project transitions.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting tenders to prospective and existing clients following company procedures and quality standards
• Overseeing smooth project transitions by completing detailed contract handovers to relevant departments

Requirements

• Experience in Industrial/Commercial projects (either Design or Estimating)
• Good understanding of BS EN 12845 and FM rules
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-facing presence
• Highly disciplined and well-organised approach to work
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a dependable team player
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking for effective problem-solving
