Responsibilities
- Supports the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
- Provides relevant sales and product information to Key Account Management/Sales, produces reports, and prepares summarized master data sheets.
- Prepares and supports preparation of technical and commercial offers.
- Supports existing sales tools, follows up with the sales team to ensure accuracy and data quality.
- Assists the Sales team in the generation and qualification of leads; provides support with opportunity progress.
- Develops product and project specifications that bring value to customers and supports usage of AVT EZ-Valve products; establishes and provides submittal documents as required.
- Manages project funnel, opportunities, contacts, and accounts in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system on select opportunities as requested by the Sales team.
- Provides technical support to municipal water and industrial customers who specify AVT EZ-Valve products.
- Provides technical support to certified installers.
- Supports sales on contract management, system management, and updates CRM and sales tools to ensure accurate data and system usability.
- Bridges sales to various departments, channels, or customers to coordinate daily operational topics.
- Tracks customer satisfaction, resolves issues after deals close, and analyzes sales data to improve strategies and forecast targets.
Requirements
- BS Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
- Client-focused with a technical background.
- Experience as a project engineer or sales engineer is valuable.
- Genuine interest in growing a career in technical/industrial product management or technical sales.
- Proven ability to handle multiple workstreams and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bias toward completing tasks quickly and on time.
- Strong communication skills.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience desired.
- Competitive and achievement-oriented; self-motivated and a self-starter, but a team player.
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required; Salesforce CRM knowledge a plus.
- Travel by automobile and airplane is required.

Pay
The salary for this role is $65,000.00 - $85,000.00.
