Proposal Coordinator (Heavy Civil Construction)

About the role

The Proposal Coordinator enforces corporate branding standards and ensures the branding requirements of partners and subcontractors are protected. Working with marketing, estimating, and construction operations teams, you will produce qualifications, proposals, and presentations to pursue new work opportunities. This role involves managing internal and external marketing materials, project information, personnel data, and corporate resources. You will learn about Skanska’s exciting projects and the people behind them, playing a key part in promoting and protecting our internationally recognized brand.

Responsibilities

• Enforce corporate branding standards and protect the branding requirements of partners and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with marketing, estimating, and construction operations teams to produce qualifications, proposals, and presentations.
• Manage project, personnel, and corporate information to support proposal efforts.
• Work with internal and external marketing materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of prior marketing experience in the construction and/or engineering industry in a similar capacity.
• 3+ years of strong writing skills, including an understanding of the elements of style and English grammar.
• Experience with design-build and alternate project delivery method proposals.
• Experience with technical writing in an engineering environment (desired).
• Familiarity with data management systems such as Salesforce and Cosential (desired).
• 4-year business or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the construction and/or engineering industry with a similar high-volume environment.

Skills

• Proficient in desktop publishing, presentation, and marketing-related software, especially Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, SharePoint, FTP sites, and video conferencing/sharing tools.
• Basic understanding of the construction and/or engineering industry, with the ability to learn new concepts during pursuits.
