Property Tax Supervisor

First National Bank of America is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Tax Supervisor to join the Escrow Team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused leader who excels at coaching team members, resolving complex issues, improving processes, and supporting a high-quality customer experience through accurate and reliable loan servicing.The Property Tax Supervisor will lead a dedicated team responsible for researching, validating, and ensuring timely property tax payments across a growing nationwide mortgage loan portfolio. This position will also collaborate closely with taxing authorities, internal business partners, vendors, and the Escrow Department to ensure accounts are serviced with accuracy, care, regulatory compliance, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.Responsibilities:Lead, support, and encourage a team responsible for property tax servicing activitiesHelp team members research and resolve complex account questions using loan notes, mortgages, contracts, and system documentationEnsure escrowed property taxes are paid accurately and on timeReview delinquent tax notifications and coordinate timely action for non-escrowed propertiesOversee tax research and activity for more than 34,000 properties nationwidePrepare clear, professional customer communications and compliance-related lettersMaintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, bank policies, procedures, and the terms of loan documentsPartner with internal teams to improve processes, strengthen efficiency, and enhance the servicing experienceParticipate in system or programming enhancements that support the team’s successQualifications:A dependable, approachable leader who enjoys helping others succeedStrong communication skills and the ability to build respectful, effective working relationshipsExceptional attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and accountabilityExperience managing direct reports, supplemental staffing, or team workflowsAbility to adapt quickly, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet deadlines on substantial long-term projectsProficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint documentsA positive, solutions-oriented approach to process improvement and changeExperience working with tax authorities, municipalities, and escrow analysis, or Lereta is preferredBilingual communication skills in Spanish or Portuguese are a plus but not requiredEmployee benefitsMedical – Multiple plans to choose from including HSA and traditional.
