Property Tax Compliance Intern - Fall 2026
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in researching and reviewing jurisdictional tax notices and tax bills for assigned clients
- Assist with tax bill processing, funding request processing, and payment
- Analyze property tax data and prepare returns for assigned clients
- Respond to inquiries from clients and taxing jurisdictions
Non-Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage client documents, including scanning and uploading to the client website
- Contribute to special projects as assigned
Education And Qualification Requirements
- Pursuing degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle high-volume work accurately and promptly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to quickly learn tax compliance software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
About the Role
Provide general support to the department by preparing returns for existing clients, communicating with taxing jurisdictions, preparing tax payments, and other timely completion of all assigned work in the personal property compliance process.
