Property Tax Clerk

About the Role

Great introductory opportunity to learn real estate and property taxes at Prime Healthcare, an award-winning health system operating 54 hospitals and over 360 outpatient locations across 15 states.

Responsibilities

• Research real estate and personal property records nationwide.
• Process and scan property tax bills, assessment notices, and correspondence for database import.
• Assist in keeping databases updated through continuous data entry and maintain organized working files.
• Help maintain reports such as insurance, property ownership, leases, and assessments.
• Interact with various internal departments and consultants.
• Review and verify documents for completion, accuracy, and validity of information.
• Assist with special projects.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with peers, vendors, and other departments.
• Ability to prioritize, work within time constraints, and strong attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Able to resolve routine to complex problems independently.
• Strong time management skills; self-motivated and well-organized.
• Competence in creating and analyzing reports.
• Ability to read and interpret real estate and legal documents.

Qualifications

• Required: PC knowledge and the skills listed above.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of real estate experience or a college degree/certification preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.00 to $30.95 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
