Property Restoration Technician
PuroClean is a local, family-owned mitigation and remediation company that responds to real and personal property damage caused by water, fire, mold, and biohazard (i.e., crime scene/trauma, etc.). Customer satisfaction is our primary objective.
About the role
As a Property Restoration Technician, you will work with various types of equipment within homes and businesses. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to providing a safe environment for work and occupancy, excellent customer service, meticulous and/or general demolition of residential and commercial building materials, structural drying/salvage/monitoring, safe vehicle/equipment operation, and mobile technology documentation. Other responsibilities may include working with mold, asbestos, lead, and various chemicals, as well as working in confined spaces such as attics and/or crawlspaces.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe environment for work and occupancy
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Perform meticulous and/or general demolition of residential and commercial building materials
- Conduct structural drying, salvage, and monitoring
- Operate vehicles and equipment safely
- Use mobile technology for documentation
- Work with mold, asbestos, lead, and various chemicals
- Work in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Provide five-star white-glove service to customers, teammates, and partners
- Be part of an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours calls
- Complete all necessary paperwork and/or online documentation accurately and timely
- Learn and navigate electronic mobile devices and critical business software
- Think rationally and make reasoned decisions
- Work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends
- Lift at least 40 lbs
- Work long hours in less than ideal conditions
Requirements
- Reliable and honest
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and know when to ask for assistance
- Punctuality
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to multi-task
- No prior experience necessary; training and certification provided for the right candidate
Qualifications
- IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, TCST) and asbestos/lead certifications are a plus and may result in a higher pay rate
- Experience in mitigation/remediation disciplines (water, fire, mold, biohazard) or construction/demolition disciplines (general construction, framing, demolition) is a plus but not required

Pay
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
