Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple apartment buildings within a diverse housing portfolio, typically managing up to three properties totaling approximately 75 to 100 units
• Manage properties serving individuals and families who qualify under HUD Project-Based Section 8 or other affordable housing guidelines
• Handle leasing, income certifications, and rent collection
• Coordinate maintenance and ensure compliance with community rules
• Foster positive tenant relationships
• Complete HUD Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) training within the first year of employment if assigned to a HUD Project-Based portfolio

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in affordable property management
• Comfortable working with diverse populations
• Strong communication skills in standard business English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to solve problems independently, meet deadlines, and manage tasks without close supervision
• Physically able to walk stairs, climb ladders, and use standard cleaning tools
• Strong time management, organization, and ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay

$25–$35/hour, depending on experience

Schedule

Monday–Friday, flexible between the hours of 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
