About the role
We are seeking an experienced multifamily community manager for one of our Manufactured Housing communities. This role focuses on community management, resident retention/relations, and daily operations. You will both sell and rent homes as well as lease lots for residents who purchase homes outside of our company. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, task-driven, and committed to excellent customer service. We offer weekly pay and multiple advancement opportunities within our rapidly growing company.
Responsibilities
- Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
- Accomplish financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
- Maintain property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs, planning renovations, and contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
- Secure property by maintaining security devices, establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Contract with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits.
- Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to the role.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in property management.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Motivation for sales, meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, territory management, closing skills, and prospecting skills.
- Professionalism in internal communications, listening, and communication processes.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test.
- Positive attitude with a desire to learn and excel in both team and independent work environments.
