About the role
Beztak, a national Real Estate Development, Construction, and Property Management company, is seeking a Property Manager to join our team at Oro Vista. This position oversees a luxury residential community of 138 units and is ideal for an Assistant Manager ready to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Motivate and hold accountable a team of employees including leasing and maintenance staff
- Ensure positive interactions for all prospects, residents, and family members with team members
- Maintain property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises
- Oversee and execute building operations
- Manage budgeted financial expectations including rent collections, occupancy expectations, and expense guidelines
- Contract with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits
- Enforce occupancy policies and procedures
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Hire team members and provide continuous learning and development
- Operate a company or personal vehicle for work-related duties, including driving as needed
- Work in a high-pressure environment, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, and interacting with difficult customers or vendors
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Property Management
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Exceptional customer service and time management skills
- High integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
- Willingness to drive for work-related purposes
Physical Demands
- Regularly sit for long periods, walk, climb stairs, stand, and communicate with residents, staff, family members, and the public
- Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) and occasional extreme conditions while performing outdoor tasks
- Periodic confinement to a vehicle
Work Environment
This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office with a mixture of natural, incandescent, and fluorescent lighting. Outdoor tasks may expose you to varying weather conditions.
