About the role

The Property Manager is responsible for the management, maintenance, security, resident services, and occupancy of housing units within the assigned owned and/or managed properties; budgetary responsibilities for assigned departments; supervision of assigned staff; and compliance with all related HUD and Housing Authority directives, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and secure housing units
  • Provide resident services
  • Ensure occupancy of assigned properties
  • Develop and manage budgets for assigned departments
  • Supervise assigned staff
  • Ensure compliance with HUD and Housing Authority directives, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of property management experience
  • Experience with HUD regulations and policies
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of housing laws and regulations
