About the role
As a frontline representative, you will attract prospective tenants, facilitate property viewings, and guide them through the leasing process. Your role is vital in maintaining high occupancy rates and fostering positive tenant relationships at a multi-family property.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for potential tenants through online listings, referrals, and networking.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, providing detailed information about available properties and scheduling tours.
- Conduct property viewings, highlighting key features and amenities.
- Assist prospective tenants with the application process, including completing rental applications and collecting documentation.
- Conduct thorough screenings: background checks, credit checks, and rental history verification.
- Collaborate with property owners and managers to negotiate lease terms and rental agreements.
- Ensure all lease agreements comply with leasing policies, Fair Housing regulations, and local rental laws.
- Coordinate move-in processes, including property inspections and lease signings.
- Address tenant concerns and inquiries promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, including tenant interactions, showings, and lease agreements.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor pricing, and rental demand.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement leasing campaigns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or real estate is advantageous.
- Leasing experience: 2 years (required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and local rental laws.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for property viewings.
- Must wear the Broad Management uniform.
