The Leasing Agent serves as the company's primary sales representative for prospective residents, responsible for driving occupancy through consultative selling, relationship building and lease conversion.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with prospective residents and understand their needs
• Present compelling housing solutions
• Close leases
• Drive leasing performance by responding to and following up on inquiries from prospective residents
• Engage with potential tenants, offering compelling insights into housing options to encourage applications
• Skillfully negotiate lease terms and provide thorough explanations of leases and related documents to new tenants
• Perform leasing activities in accordance with applicable laws to maximize housing occupancy
• Collaborate with underwriting and leasing teams to navigate applicants through the leasing journey
• Stay informed about company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and up-to-date practices

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer‑facing sales experience required
• Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred
• Valid State Real Estate License required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
• Outstanding communication abilities and analytical skills to solve problems effectively
• Ability to build relationships, organize tasks, and deliver top‑notch customer service
• Flexibility to work weekends required

Pay

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $25.00 hourly. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

This position is eligible to receive monthly bonus payments.
