About the Role

Join American Modern Insurance Group, a Munich Re company, as a Property Field Adjuster, where you will manage claims end-to-end and support customers when it matters most. Focus on handling claims related to residential property lines, including manufactured homes and specialty dwellings, providing expert evaluation and service.

Responsibilities

  • Own property claims from first notice of loss through resolution
  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and determine coverage
  • Develop estimates using Cotality
  • Guide policyholders through the claims process with clear communication
  • Partner with agents and internal teams to deliver strong outcomes
  • Participate in catastrophe (CAT) duty as needed, which may require travel throughout the United States for up to 4 weeks

Requirements

  • Property claims handling experience
  • Estimating platform experience (Xactimate, Cotality, Symbility, etc.)
  • Experience with property inspections and damage assessment
  • Knowledge of dwelling/mobile home construction
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work in the field, including climbing ladders (40+ lbs)
  • Must be located in or near Delaware or Eastern Maryland
  • Flexibility to complete CAT deployment as needed

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000, plus opportunity for a company bonus based on a percentage of eligible pay. The higher end of the range aligns with the Delaware and Maryland job market. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
