About the Role
Own the Claim. Lead in the Field. Join American Modern Insurance Group, a Munich Re company, as a Property Field Adjuster, where you will manage claims end-to-end and support customers when it matters most. Focus on handling claims related to residential property lines, providing expert evaluation and service.
Responsibilities
- Own property claims from first notice of loss through resolution
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and determine coverage
- Develop estimates using Cotality
- Guide policyholders through the claims process with clear communication
- Partner with agents and internal teams to deliver strong outcomes
- Participate in catastrophe duty as needed (can be throughout the United States and last up to 4 weeks)
- Prepare reports and written correspondence
Requirements
- Property claims handling experience or experience in a similar field/industry
- Estimating platform experience (Xactimate, Cotality, Symbility, etc.)
- Experience with property inspections and damage assessment li>Knowledge of dwelling/mobile home construction
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work in the field, including climbing ladders and lifting 40+ lbs
- Location in or near Lansing, Michigan, with flexibility for CAT deployment
