What You’ll Do Own property claims from first notice of loss through resolutionConduct on-site inspections to assess damage and determine coverageDevelop estimates using CotalityGuide policyholders through the claims process with clear communicationPartner with agents and internal teams to deliver strong outcomesParticipation in catastrophe duty as needed. CAT duty can be throughout the United States and can last up to 4 weeks.Communication - preparing reports and written correspondence What You Bring Property claims handling experience or experience in a similar field/industryEstimating platform experience (Xactimate, Cotality, Symbility, etc.)Experience with property inspections and damage assessmentKnowledge of dwelling/mobile home constructionValid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordAbility to work in the field, including climbing ladders (40+ lbs)Applicants requiring employer sponsorship of a visa will not be considered for this position. Location & Travel Candidates must be located in or near Lansing, Michigan area and must have flexibility to complete CAT deployment as needed.
