Property Damage Subrogation Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced auto insurance subrogation professional to join our Claims team as a Property Damage (PD) Subrogation Specialist. In this role, you'll take ownership of auto property damage subrogation files from start to finish, working with insurance carriers, attorneys, and uninsured motorists to maximize recoveries while delivering exceptional claim outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review evidence required supporting property damage subrogation activity on claims in accordance with policy contract, corporate claims policy and state regulations
• Contact appropriate parties, insurance carriers, and attorneys, to negotiate settlements which are in compliance with company objectives and applicable state regulations
• Evaluate all counter claims that present themselves and review with Claims management
• Review settlement offers with Claims management to ensure they are in compliance with company objectives and applicable state regulations
• Achieve/maintain company goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of auto insurance company subrogation experience
• Knowledge of liability law
• Good interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to pass written examinations where required by state statutes to become a licensed claims adjuster
• Ability to work on an on-line computer-based claims system

Pay

Estimated Compensation Range: $50,000/year - $65,000/year
