Property Damage Attorney

About the role

Ekspert Counsel is seeking a First-Party Property Attorney to join a growing insurance recovery and property damage practice. This role offers the opportunity to represent policyholders in complex insurance disputes involving residential, commercial, and property-related claims. The ideal candidate will have experience handling first-party property matters and strong litigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage first-party property insurance matters from claim evaluation through resolution.
• Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues.
• Represent clients in insurance disputes, mediations, depositions, hearings, and litigation proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and stay current on insurance law developments.
• Negotiate settlements and develop strategies to maximize client recovery.
• Advise clients regarding coverage disputes, claim handling issues, and risk exposure.
• Collaborate with adjusters, experts, contractors, and other professionals involved in claim evaluations.
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial when necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case strategy and status updates.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar membership required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience handling property and casualty insurance claims.

Pay

Base salary between $120,000 to $150,000. Monthly settlement bonuses plus other bonus opportunities.
