Core Responsibilities
- Work Product Creation, Project Management, Coordination with Team Members
- Conduct Property Condition Assessments, commercial energy usage assessments, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
- Conduct/Direct field assessment activities and work alongside our team of engineers and environmental professionals, subcontractors, and clients.
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractor activities for projects.
- Write and review detailed building condition reports, energy audits and other technical assessment reports.
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractor activities for projects.
- Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policy.
- Prepare and implement Health and Safety Plans for the site where required.
- Effectively coordinate with other team members as requested or assigned, able to provide guidance and monitor progress on assigned tasks or projects, and ensure work product produced by self or other assigned team members is consistently high quality.
- Mentor project team members in execution of defined objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Travel, as necessary to support client, employee, and leadership needs.
- Support individual and any assigned team members quality control of service delivery, maintaining an excellent reputation of quality
Qualifications & Competencies
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction and 5 years of related experience, a Master's degree and 3 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience and no degree.
- Successful work experience in the execution of Property Condition Assessments following ASTM E2018 protocols; Energy Auditing Services and development of energy conservation measures.
- Environmental Assessment experience is a plus.
- Mechanical systems evaluation experience a plus.
- Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD a plus.
- PE or RA registration a plus.
- OSHA-10 or -30 certification required as part of job, training will be provided as needed.
- Health & Safety Certification pursuant to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZWOPER 40 Hour) is not required but would be beneficial.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong technical report writing skills.
- Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with co-workers and Supervisors, and clients, subcontractors, and vendors as assigned.
- Able to provide oversight and direction to assigned staff.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated self-awareness and flexibility in working with a variety of personalities and work styles (colleagues, clients, Assigned Managing Consultant(s)).
- Able to handle multiple priorities and perform consistently and positively under high stress conditions.
- Knowledge of computer operations and standard software packages (word processing, spreadsheets, Adobe) required.
