Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducts various tasks to include updating information, verifying information, communicating with customers, generating reports, releasing or the transfer of property, and maintaining records in a property accountable system.
- Fulfills directions from Supervisor and Government Leadership while working independently and as part of a team and adhering to policies.
- Enters and maintains records for accountability and to an audit standard.
- Understands ARMY property regulations.
- Verifies and reconciles fixed assets by physically locating and identifying assets at various locations across the Center to ensure accountability.
- Supports excellence in customer service and delivers excellent customer service both to internal and external customers while building professional working relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and customers.
- Supports annual property/asset inventories of customers and tracks those received through an internal process.
- Identifies safety concerns to Supervisor and other required stakeholders.
- Aids in maintaining accurate files and provides documentation to Government Lead when requested.
- Provides and assists with required monthly data to Supervisor for a monthly report/tracking matrix of all property matters.
- Maintains accuracy of administrative functions/paperwork such as receipt documentation, work orders, or internal paperwork.
- Maintains a clean and safe worksite while performing or conducting job duties and is attentive to detail.
- Supports the mission, vision, values, and goals of the US ARMY.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of (3) Years of Personal Property Book Experience working in an DoD Accountable Property Database/System (DPAS/GCSS-ARMY), Associates of Arts Degree, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s License.
- Minimum of (5) Years of Personal Property Book Experience working in an DoD Accountable Property Database/System (DPAS/GCSS-ARMY), High School Diploma/GED, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s License.
- Served in the US Military and retained a Logistics – Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in a related capacity for a Minimum of (4) Years, and (active) CLASS C Driver’s License.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Primarily Stationary; The work environment occurs primarily in an office setting (75%) of the time.
- The Clerk is required to perform on-site property existence validation inspections (25%) of the time that can occur from an office, warehouse, or lab setting and could require both bending and standing positions.

Terms of Employment and Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.

Rate of Pay/Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $24.30
