Key Responsibilities For The Property Accountant
- Prepare monthly financial statements and complete month-end close activities for an assigned portfolio of properties.
- Record journal entries, reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger activity.
- Partner with property managers to review financial performance, resolve accounting questions, and support operational success.
- Assist with audits, year-end reporting, and special accounting projects as assigned.
Qualifications For The Property Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience; property, real estate, or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
Pay
$80,000-$90,000
