Property Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute full-cycle accounting for a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate properties
• Perform accurate journal entries, accruals, monthly close, and bank reconciliations for assigned properties and entities
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), lease abstracting, and Capitalized Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations tailored to unique property/tenant mix
• Interface directly with property managers, controllers, and owners to facilitate financial performance and compliance
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements during accounting system transitions and property onboarding

Must-Have Skills/Experience (Required)

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in commercial real estate/property management
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Proficiency with Yardi (Voyager preferred) or analogous real estate accounting systems
