Property Accountability Analyst / Specialist

About the role

The Property Accountability Analyst / Specialist will support processing, physical distribution, and logistics services in support of the Texas Army National Guard.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze property records to identify systemic accountability and visibility discrepancies across supported units
• Analysis: Evaluate Logistics Information System (LIS) data, inventory results, and transaction histories to identify "problem areas" (recurring losses, failure to meet inventory timelines, or data entry errors)
• Corrective Action: For every identified discrepancy or problem area, provide a written recommendation for corrective action (e.g., additional training for unit personnel, process adjustments, or administrative adjustments)
• Reporting: the findings, evaluations, and recommended actions shall be consolidated into a formal report
• Prepare PAER Reconcile transactions and records

Requirements

• 3-5 years warehouse/logistics experience
• Analytical property-accountability capability
• Knowledge of AR 710-2/DA PAM 710-2-1 and applicable LIS processes
• Tier 1 Investigation
• CAC card or ability to obtain one
• Forklift license if/when operating forklift
• Must be eligible for a U.S. Government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
