Propeller Quality Technician

About the role
Hartzell Service Center is seeking a technical support resource to manage new product returns and conduct engineering evaluations related to service issues within our repair station. This role offers a diverse workload, combining routine responsibilities with special projects and assignments. The ideal candidate enjoys variety in their workday and is comfortable adapting to changing priorities and challenges.
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex, high-priority, or escalated technical issues.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to resolve systemic issues.
- Perform work on new articles shipped from the factory.
- Contribute to product improvement, testing, and process optimization.
- Process Service Difficulties and returned inventory.
- Perform work on tooling and equipment in accordance with factory drawings and specifications.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in company products, systems, and troubleshooting processes.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and QA teams.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
- 4+ years of technical support or related experience.
- Works under minimal supervision.
