Propane Service Technician

We're looking for an outstanding individual to join our team and contribute to the company's legacy of service and safety as a customer-focused, mechanically inclined Propane Service Technician. Every day is different as you get to work with a wide variety of equipment and people.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and maintains propane distribution systems for retail customers.
• Provides emergency response and system installation and testing.
• Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries during daily interactions.
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and vehicle by keeping tools, equipment and materials in proper places.
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operates vehicle in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads propane equipment to and from specified destinations.
• Requires on-call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ideally 2 or more years of experience with installation and repair of propane-based heating systems, equipment and appliances.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and maintaining propane operated appliances.
• Clean driving record.
• Drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check required.

Pay

$22 to $25 per hour.
