Propane Delivery Driver (CDL B) - Hiring Bonus!

About the role

This is a local route, home every night, Class B CDL position. Primary responsibilities include delivering propane, propane tanks and cylinders to residential and commercial sites while providing first in class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Delivering propane, propane tanks and cylinders to residential and commercial sites
• Providing first in class customer service
• Maintaining and upkeep of company and customer equipment
• Plant maintenance activities

Requirements

• Minimum of a class B commercial driver’s license with tanker and hazardous endorsements (or the ability to obtain requisite endorsements)
• Clean driving record verifiable by a Federal Motor Vehicle Report
• Able to pass a DOT physical and maintain a Federal DOT medical card
• Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in the English Language
• Able to comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements
• Safety conscious and customer service oriented
• Ability to operate and maintain handheld tablets
• Inspect vehicle and notify supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance
• DOT Hazmat Training and Maintenance every three years
• Maintains compliance with all DOT requirements

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to pull delivery hose
• Must be able to bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed
• Filling, loading, securing and delivering propane cylinders or bulk

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good driving skills
