Promotions - Warehouse/Distribution Center Order Support Clerk III

Position Overview

Group Lead Person that directs area associates in the process flow of a department in the distribution center as directed by department supervisor. This will require knowledge of Promotions operations, and PKMS/WM System. Must be able to travel between sites when necessary. Must be able to manage corrugate levels for promotions.

Essential Functions

• Interact and communicate effectively with employees.
• Hands-on involvement with all aspects of the department operation with the tactful transmittal of directions, instructions, and procedures to a group of hourly co-workers for the purpose of performing basic department functions.
• Lead and coordinate activities of workers engaged in department activities and possible training of new employees in job duties.
• Ensure all work is performed according to company-approved procedures, standards and specifications.
• Provide a healthy and safe environment through monthly training for all personnel.
• Expedite process flows based on communications within responsibility of departmental operation.
• Run queries to determine department needs.
• Perform necessary inventory transactions.
• Obtain work orders from shift supervisor or computer.
• Prioritize work orders and assign various duties to employees as needed.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervision.

Set-Up for Daily Operations

• At the start of the shift, the employee will review the work instructions and schedule with the supervisor.
• The employee will obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare of operations.
• The employee will put on all the required PPE and safety gear.
• The employee will perform a daily safety check of the assigned forklift in accordance with company policy to ensure that all devises are functioning properly.

• Standing: 30% of the time, 8 hours per day.
• Walking: 30% of the time, 8 hours per day.
• Sitting: 40% of the time, 8 hours per day.
• Reach, pinch, grasp, turn twist, drive: 75-90% of the time, 8 hours per day.
• Twist back, bend: 20-50% of the time, 8 hours per day.
• Crouch, stoop: 20-50% of the time, 8 hours per day.
• Reach: 12-18” distance.
• Work area height: 12” to 72”.
• Normal weight max: 50 lbs.
• Distance lifting: 5 lbs, 50 lbs, 2-10ft.
• Push/Pull (object wt): 5 lbs, 50 lbs, 2-10ft.
• Break cycle: 20 minutes.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

• Good attendance and solid work record.
• Reading and writing literate, working mathematical knowledge, understand implied instructions, ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• This will require knowledge of promotions and PKMS/WM System related to promotions.
